Brad Pitt's Plan B Developing Dark Void Video Game Movie

Have video game movies finally started to get to a point where a high profile star like Brad Pitt can lead them? Variety announces that Pitt's company Plan B and Reliance Big Pictures have purchased the rights to the video game Dark Void from Capcom. They will be developing a feature film based on the game as a potential franchise and starring vehicle for Pitt. The game isn't even out - it'll hit shelves in January for all systems (Xbox, PS3, PC). “As a game, Dark Void was developed with a wide-screen mentality â€" a world full of adventure presented in cinematic scope and scale,” Capcom senior VP Germaine Gioia said of the game.
